Why SOA?

SOA testing is the latest rage. SOA is service oriented architecture. Instead of building tightly coupled Middle tier and GUI, Service architecture relies on building loosely coupled web services which are then connected through an ESB.

This Approach enables the organization to achieve flexibility and speed and in turn take advantage of agility and capacity to upgrade the technology much faster and negate any first mover advantage.

But watch out! SOA is not a quick fix solution. One must be very careful on where to use or implement the SOA solution. Careful planning is required in identifying the areas where SOA should be implemented. Randomly implementing SOA will make sure that you have embarked on a fruitless experiment with minimal ROI.

But the more effectively you do the analysis and implement this solution, the higher your ROI and flexibility.
